I oversee the shaping and development of BGS’s digital geological data pipelines together with the data and analysis related processes that enable data interactivity. My leadership in this area includes developing new ways of working with predominantly geological data, from its initial capture through to refinement. This is central to how BGS delivers one of its core functions as a geological survey – the capture and provision of geological data and information for a range of potential users and applications, which is directly aligned with the Maps and Models for the 21st Century component of the 51ΑΤΖζ 2023-2028 strategy.
