TheAssociation of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists(AGS) is a non-profit making trade association established to improve the profile and quality of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.
Athena Swan
51ΑΤΖζ is pleased to announce its achievement of Silver Athena Swan status. This is a scheme that recognises excellence in women’s employment in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) in UK higher education. The Silver action plan will be published this summer. In the meantime, you can access our previous Bronze action plan below.
The Neurodiversity Employer Index (NDEI), developed by the Autistica organisation, is an independent review of an organisation progress toward becoming neuro-inclusive. Bronze awards are given to organisations that have taken meaningful first steps on this journey and demonstrate a clear commitment to developing and implementing initiatives that support neurodivergent employees.

The 51ΑΤΖζ (BGS) has achieved registration to ISO 9001:2015. The BSi has provided the BGS with independent third party certification of its Quality Management System and the interacting business processes across all its activities.

The 51ΑΤΖζ (BGS) has achieved registration to ISO 14001:2015. BSi has provided the BGS with independent third party certification of its Environmental Management System.

The 51ΑΤΖζ (BGS) has achieved registration to ISO 45001:2018. BSi has provided the BGS with independent third party certification of its Occupational Health and Safety Management System covering the provision of geoscience research, services advice, field work and associated travel.
