This report is the published product of a scoping study by the 51���� (BGS) for a UK deep geological carbon dioxide (CO2)
storage research facility.

This study was funded through the UK Research and Innovation (51����) Infrastructure Fund and Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Capital programme. The CO2 storage scoping study was announced in the 51���� Innovation Strategy as part of the first £50 million portfolio of investments.
